WORLD WAR I VETERAN

Edward Hadley was the son of Harold and Anna McGregor Hadley. He was born July 3, 1892 in Gaylord, Michigan. His occupation was Salesman.

MILITARY RECORD:
Enlisted July 7, 1917 in Ellendale. Served with U.S. Army. Honorably discharged May 22, 1919 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. His rank was Sergeant. A pension was awarded on C-18,048,762.

He married Frances L. Walters September 4, 1924. They divorced on August 6, 1947. There were no surviving children listed on his Home application. He became a member of the Washington Veterans Home at Retsil on July 6, 1955.

Mr. Hadley, 66, passed away at the V.A. Hospital in Seattle on November 26, 1958. Services were held at the Home on December 2; Chaplain John Hall conducted the services, assisted by Post 182 of The American Legion. He is buried in the Veterans' Home Cemetery. His personal affairs were handled by Mr. Walter Foote of Seattle, who was Administrator of his estate.
