Obituary:
Audrey L. Asper, 65, of 1190 Cranberry Road, Gardners, died Friday, June 30, 2000, in Hanover Hospital. She was born May 4, 1935 in Arendtsville, a daughter of the late Russell and Dessel Oates Spangler.
Mrs. Asper was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the York Springs Fire Co.
She is survived by her husband, Richard D. Asper, to whom she was married for 47 years; three daughters, LuAnn Miller of Enola; Vicki Asper of Paradise; Dawn S. Asper of Gardners; two sons, Keith W. Asper and Todd L. Asper, both of Gardners; one sister, Maxine Killingsworth of Strasburg; one brother, Elwood Spangler of Lancaster; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, in Dugan Funeral Home Inc., 111 S. Main St., Bendersville. The Rev. Dale Mullinix will officiate. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, July 4, from 7 to 9 p.m.
