Word has been received here of the death of John J Barden, 40, of Galveston, Texas, a former resident of Wausau. He died at Galveston yesterday after a brief illness. The body will be brought to Wausau for burial. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Born in Wausau, August 7, 1895, Mr. Barden went to Galveston about 15 years ago. He was a carpenter by occupation. He was not married. Surviving him are two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Berg and Miss Carol Barden of Mosinee.
