Lovett

Graveside services for Dusty Lovett, 35, of Amarillo, formerly of Dumas, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Minerva Cemetery with Gary Spears officiating.

A celebration of life will be held at Pete Iverson's residence, 8524 Hwy. 136, in Fritch at "Harley Acres" at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9.

Mr. Lovett died Sunday, May 3, at his home.

An Amarillo resident for the past 17 years, he was born Sept. 27, 1973, in Dumas.

Mr. Lovett was a Dumas High School graduate and an avid Texas Longhorn fan.

He was a self-employed tile installation contractor for 15 years.

Mr. Lovett enjoyed rodeoing and participated all through high school.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Survivors are his mother, Pat Lovett of Rockdale; a daughter, Dakota Hazen of Amarillo; a sister, Christy Lovett of Rockdale; and aunts and uncles, Judy and James Pendleton, Gary and Stephanie Folley, Florene Wolfe and Michelle Lovett.

Pallbearers will be James Pendleton, Ronnie Hickman, Allen Chudej, Joel Olivas, Gene Baird and Rusty Bankston.

Honorary pallbearers are Riley Kent, Kelly Davis, Weed, Adolph, Mac Carter, Jason Shirley and Pete Iverson.
