He first married Susan Margaret Thompson at the home of William Thompson. Their children were Anne Gertrude b 1862, Lydia Jane b1864, John Thomas b1866, Ruth Susan b1868, Emma Lucy b1870 and Anthony b1876. He later married Mattie Brownfield(widow Creal). Their children were Nellie b1893, Rebecca b 1894 and Creed Haskings b1899. Ezekial was a farmer and ran the mill at Brush Creek in Green County as well as the Post Office. The old mill was across the road from the cemetery where he and his wife are buried.
