Missouri Death Cert. #12508. Informant is his youngest son, Ira Wyrick. Solomon Churchwell Wyrick was born Jan. 7, 1832 in Monroe, Tennessee. His parents were Frederick and Phoebe Wyrick.

He served during the Civil War in the 1st Tennessee Calvary, Private, Company E, Confederate States Army. He became a prisoner of war after being captured in Martinsburg, West Virginia on July 7, 1864.

Spouses:
1. Sarah (maiden name possibly Jacks/Jaques), married abt 1851. They had the following children before she passed away, abt. 1874:

Charles Wyrick, b. 1859
James Madison Wyrick, b. 1862
Sarah Ellen Wyrick, b. 1864
Anna Elizabeth Wyrick, b. 1866

2. Mary Elizabeth Kirksey, married on Nov. 13, 1877 at Cedar County, Missouri. He and his wife lived and raised their sons in Cedar County until his death in 1918. His wife died in 1923. They had 6 children, with one son, Charles Wyrick, being stillborn in 1879. Charles was the twin of Louis Wiley Wyrick. Binard Wyrick was born in 1882 but died as in infant. Children born to this union were:
