GOLDIE J. 'SLUGGO' JOHNSTON, 84, of Walls (Mississippi), retired from Kimberly-Clark, died of heart failure Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Northridge/Woodhaven Funeral Home with burial in Northridge/Woodhaven Cemetery. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4916 and Frayser Assembly of God Church. She leaves a daughter, Pat Jones of Walls; a son, Don McGee of Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Sue Maraman of Camden, Tenn., six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
