ANGELA RACHELLE HOPEWELL, 21, of Fort Wayne, whom the Lord took home to be with him on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Born May 4, 1988, in Springfield, Ohio, she lived almost her entire life in Fort Wayne. Angela means "bringing of glad tidings" and for 21 years, she brought joy and happiness to many. She was a 2007 graduate of Blackhawk Christian School and had attended Grace College, Winona Lake and Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne. Growing up she loved being with her cousins, pressing flowers from her summer travels and sharing time with family and friends. Her smiling memory is cherished and loved by those she touched. Surviving are her parents, Thomas M. and Jane B. Hopewell of Winamac, Ind.; brother, Matthew Hopewell of Fort Wayne; and grandparents, William J. and Ruth M. Hopewell of Albion and Dorothy Bullock of Peru, Ind. "She is truly loved and treasured and will be greatly missed by her uncles, aunts and many cousins." She was preceded in death by grandfather, William P. Bullock of Peru. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodburn Missionary Church, 5108 Bull Rapids Road, Woodburn, with calling one hour prior. Rev. Joel DeSelm officiating. Calling also from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Baptist Children's Home, Valparaiso or A Hope Center, Fort Wayne. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mem.com.
