Dr. Paul C. Bowers, 87, of Annapolis, Md., formerly of Carney's Point, N.J., died Saturday in the Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore, after a short illness. , Dr. Bowers retired as a chemist with the Du Pont Co. in 1953. His wife, Evelyn, died in 1972. He is survived by one son, Barry, with whom he had lived for the last 5 years, and two grandchildren Services will be this afternoon at I at Union Presbyterian Church. Shell Rd., Carney's Point. There will be no viewing. Burial will be at Eglington Memorial Gardens, Clarksboro N.J. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Union Presbyterian Church.
