Caroline Marie (Lamar) Brower died May 16, 2009 in Van Nuys, California. Mrs. Brower was born March 19, 1936 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Paul and Effie (Bellomy) Lamar and was reared in Dearing, attending Coffeyville schools.

On September 29, 1963, she married Mr. Doyle Wayne Brower.

Mr. and Mrs. Brower mad their home in Sun Valley, California where they were faithful members of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Brower was preceded in death be her parents; by her husband, Doyle; by brothers, Derald Gene Lamar and Carl Ray Lamar and by sisters, Peggy Lamar and Mary Lamar Grossman.

She leaves to mourn her passing, a daughter, Lisa (Brower) Shrock of Sun Valley, California; one sister, Elizabeth Tickle of Dearing; a brother, Kenneth Lamar, Jr. and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel's Restlawn Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas.

Services and interment are under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Friends may call before services on Saturday, beginning at 9:00 am.
