US Navy 1918 - WWI, Benjamin Herman Petzold.

Ben served on the USS Arizona before it was commissioned as a battleship, during WW1. He was part of the crew that performed maneuvers to Quantanimo Bay. He was in the "Black Gang" that shoveled coal on the USS Luella, which was decommissioned and scrapped. He died from mesothelioma, presumed from working in the Navy, and from working with asbestos.
