OBITUARY - Pharos Tribune, Logansport (IN) - Wednesday, May 9, 1956

PERU - Samuel G. Allison, 85, 480 E. Fifth, died at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday at Dukes hospital. He had been ill one year.

A retired farmer and carpenter he had lived in Peru 35 years.

Born in Lagro on Sept. 2, 1870, he was the son of William and Margaret (Gilpin) Allison. He married Edith Stanley in 1908. She died in 1947. Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Roy Senton, Peru, and several step-grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Final rites will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. A.W. Miley officiating. #Burial will be made in Falls cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday.
