DEATH NOTICE: The Manti Messenger, Friday, 7 February 1913:
Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Harmon lost their son Willis Bryant, Sunday from leakage of the heart, with which he has been troubled for three years. He would have been 14 years old next month the funeral was held from the Tabernacle Wednesday.

OBITUARY: The Manti Messenger, Friday, 14 February 1913:

Wednesday afternoon February 5th at 2 o'clock the impressive services over the remains of Brother Willis Harmon who passed away at his home Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, was held at the Tabernacle.
The large number of relatives and friends at the services and the profusion of delicate and beautiful flowers symbolized the high esteem and admiration in which the departed was held. All who knew him feel that they have lost a dear and true friend, on who taught them many beautiful lessons and whose life was exemplary and a model.
All the speakers at the services were a unit in praising his life and character, the gist of each one's remarks was a high tribute to his honest, earnest, sympathetic and industrious career.
His classmates from school sang the two opening songs, a quartett led by E. T. Reid sang "Oh My Father" and the closing hymn was rendered by the Tabernacle choir.
He was thirteen years of age and had suffered the past two years with leakage of the heart which finally resulted in his death.
It was hoped by his parents and those of his friends who understood his condition that he might outlive his fourteenth year. They thought he might live for many years if he could successfully pass that transitional period of adolescence. But a Greater Power than that of man willed it otherwise.
The bereaved parents wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many relatives and friends who assisted them so loyally during their trouble and dark hours of trial.
