Christina Hess Adams was born Dec 22, 1898 to Edwin & Permilla Hess in Nelson, Wis., the first of twelve children. She attended Dry Coulee School for several years and Married Orville Adams in 1919. They had three sons. In 1931 the family moved to Madison where Christina worked for the state of Wisconsin in the state capital in maintenance for 27 years.

Christina died age 101 in Palm Bay at the Integrated Health Care Center of Palm Bay, Florida.

She is survived by [edited for privacy], four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceeded in death by 3 sisters: Pearl Wesley, Rose Braun and Betty Schroeder, and three brothers: Russell, Melvin & Clayton Hess. Christina enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and reminiscing. She loved every animal and bird and flower.

Christina was a member of the Madison Church Of Christ for many years until moving with her son, Earl, with whom she lived for over 50 years, to Palm Bay, FL in 1991.

Christina was a kind and loving person and will be missed by all who knew her.

Services were held at 11 A.M. Wednesday at the Church Of Christ, Nelson, WI.

Friends called from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. Service at the church on wednesday with burial at the Nelson Cemetery.

Stohr-Hagen-Wozney Funeral Home, Alma, WI was in charge of arrangements.
