He is buried in a wooded area on a hill off Bray School Road about a half mile before getting to the old Bray School. His tombstone, marked with his Civil War service, is the only one marked in a cemetery that contains several fieldstones. The area is open to cattle so the fieldstones have been toppled and the cemetery is in bad shape. Bray's tombstone has been broken.
