Mrs. Rebecca Bunting Coolihan the eldest daughter of Eli and Rosa Bunting was born in Linn county Jan. 3, 1865, and married Wm. Coolihan July 16, 1894. To her was born one child which survives her. Four years ago death claimed her only sister, and since that time has called her father, leaving her mother, one brother, her husband and an infant daughter to mourn her loss.
The deceased was a king and loving wife, and daughter, and an honest upright woman who had endeared herself to a large circle of friends and relatives, who sincerely mourn her to whom the silent messenger came so suddenly. After a brief illness the end came peacefully on the morning of Jan. 19, surrounded by kind friends and neighbors. Funeral services were conducted at the house by Rev. F.M. Smith last Saturday and attended by a large company of friends and relatives.
