Christopher Steven Shaver, 17, of 204 Dunwoody Avenue, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2009.

Born in Easley, June 7, 1991, he was the son of Steven Everett Shaver of Harrison, MI and Vicky Lyn Lollis Shaver of the home. He was an 11th grade student at D.W. Daniel High School and was a member of The Mount in Clemson. Christopher loved to draw and loved being outside, always running and walking.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are a maternal grandmother, Mary Roberts of Pickens; paternal grandparents, Ettie & John Olson of Greenville; two aunts, Diane Lollis of Pendleton, Sandie Fincannon of Powdersville; an uncle, Josh Lollis of Liberty; and five cousins, Kayla Browning of Pendleton, Jessie Smith, Lindsay Smith of Powdersville, Clay & Caidence Lollis of Liberty. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Roy Lollis.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday May 25, 2009, in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Anthony officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday night from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Youth Group at The Mount; 827 Old Greenville Highway; Clemson, SC 29631.

The family is at the home.
