JAMES FRANKLIN SHOFFNER, 63, of Memphis, retired employee of Kimberly-Clark, died Friday at St. Francis Hospital after a short illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home Union Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Shoffner leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ellen S. Wilson, and a son, James Franklin Shoffner III, both of Memphis; a brother, William Paul Shoffner of Memphis, and two granddaughters. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 9/23/1990)
