Lee County, Virginia. to Betty Davis.________________Jan 20 1975.________________. Kern Paye, 82, Keokee, died Monday in the Veteran's hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was a World War 1 Veteran. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Ethel Bledsoe Keokee and Mrs.Osice Stafford, Zeinsville, Ohio;. One son, Green Payne, Keokee; One sister, Mrs. Allie Caudill, Pennington Gap; and Six granddaughter. Funerl services were conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday in the Province Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edgar Baltimore and the Rev. Theodore Holmes officiating, Burial was in the Payne Cemetery. Province Funeral Home in charge arrangements.
