COVINGTON - Sheila Ballard, 48, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens . She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Post 316. Mrs. Ballard, the wife of William Thomas Ballard, also leaves a son, Christopher Monroe Ballard of Covington; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. Ozment of Dyersburg, and a brother, James C. Ozment of Nashville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to the Order of the Eastern Star Christian Scholarship Fund, American Cancer Society or Junior Auxiliary Scholarship Fund.
