Bonnie G. BEATTIE, 53, Rt. 3, Rochester (Monticello Road), died at 9 p.m. Wednesday at her home after an illness of three years.
She was born June 26, 1932 in the Reiter Community to Allen and Minnie SWARTZLANDER BALLENGER. She was married May 14, 1955 in Logansport to Gerald W. BEATTIE, who survives. She had worked at the Evergreen Cafe, and attended the Church of the Nazarene.
Suriving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Kathy) DENISTON, Macy; two sons, Allen [BEATTIE], of Shelly, Idaho, and Gerald William [BEATTIE], Rochester; five grandchildren, and a brother, Devane [BALLENGER], Mishawaka. The parents preceded in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home in Rochester with the Rev. Frank VOSS officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until services.
