She was born July 28, 1851, and united in marriage to William F. Andrews on April 15, 1869. To this union, four children were born, two of whom, Ida Belle and William Edward, preceded her in death. She leaves two sons, John Q. Andrews of Rose Hill and Lee Andrews of Rochdale, Indiana; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Kin Vanatta of Hidalgo. Her husband passed away on October 14, 1909.
Most of her life was spent near and in Hidalgo, but for the past 19 years she had made her home with her son Lee.
Funeral services were conducted at the Christian Church in Hidalgo, of which she had been a member for 80 years. The Reverend John E. Spencer, a lifelong friend, officiated.
