Dies at Age 73
"Roy L. Day, 73, 117 Dawer St., a veteran of World War I and World War II, died Thursday in a local hospital. Born April 3, 1894, at Kalkaska, Mich., he retired from the U.S. Army as a master sergeant. He had been a resident of Hot Springs 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Terry Day, Hot Springs; two sons, Norman O. Day, Washington, D.C., and Roy L. Day Jr., El Paso, Tex., and a grandchild. The family will be at West Grand Ave. Gross Mortuary will announce arrangements."
