Ada Florence Chancey, 90, of 907 Gothic Street, died Tuesday, December 13, 1988 at 8:20 a.m. in Good Shepherd Village. She was born November 12, 1898 in Yellow Springs. Mrs CHANCEY was the former proprietor of D and A Lunch. She is survived by a long time friend, Leroy ALSPAUGH; a daughter-in-law, Mary CHANCEY, of Florida; five grandchildren, Harold HIXSON, of Enon, Nancy RAMSEY DAILEY, of Washington, Court House, Donna TAYLOR, Kevin CHANCY and Edward CHANCEY, all of Florida; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, in 1953; two sons, Wilbur and Roy CHANCEY; and three daughters, Helen HIXSON, Mildred LEMON, and Dorothy COOPER. Friends may call in the Littleton Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. Thursday where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with Pastor R. R. Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
