Erno Coonce
(January 10, 1933 - May 16, 2009)


Erno Coonce, 76, of Russellville, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Country Side Manor in Lamar. The son of Bradley and Henrietta Higgs Coonce, he was born January 10, 1933 in Winnfield, LA. He was a member of the Victory Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed wood working and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Michael Lynn Coonce and Ricky Lee. Coonce; two brothers, Everette Ray Coonce and Elbert Coonce.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE; wife, Fern Coonce of Russellville; four children, Ronald Coonce and wife Patricia of Forest, MS, Venita Lawrence and husband Verlon of London, Alicia Duke and husband Johnny of El Paso, AR, and Linda Greer of Russellville two step children, Steve Jennings and wife Daylene of Mesa, AZ and Patti Kinnaman and husband Roger of Russellville; 11grandchildren four siblings, Yvette Ganbrell of Marion, LA, Yvonne Ball of Winnfield, LA, John Coonce of Dodson, LA, Yves Rodriquez of Galveston, TX and 12 great grandchildren

Graveside service will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Rev. Danny Fudge will officiate. Burial will be under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice 2405 East Parkway Suite 3 Russellville, AR 72802

Erno Coonce was married twice. His first wife was Ollie Jean Miller Coonce King. She is buried in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Spearsville, Union Parish, Louisiana. The memorial is #21383154 if you would like to add it to his family links.
