Services for Mrs. Rosa Thornhill, 64, who died Sunday morning in a Crosbyton hospital were held at 3 p.m. Monday, August 9, in the Pansy Baptist Church.

Officiating was the Rev. Leonard Sims, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Melvin Ratheal of Tucson, Ariz. Burial was in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home.

A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Thornhill moved to Crosby County in 1909.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Thornhill; two sons, Jack of Austin and Charles of Tulsa, Okla., four sisters, Mrs. Shadie Woods of Houston and Mrs. Clarence Ratheal, Mrs. Hallie Smith and Mrs. Meb Givens, all of Crosbyton; three brothers, Conda Starrett of Kalgary, S.P. Starrett of Crosbyton and Stacy Starrett of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.
