Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Angus Owens, 77, resident of the Rich Community, will be held at 10 o'clock on Friday morning at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial will take place in Lynnwood Cemetery at Lynnville. Mrs. Owens died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, February 20, at her home after a period of declining health.
She was the daughter of the late J. F. Angus and Lou Carpenter Angus, and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband, W. H. Owens; one son, Herman Owens, Rich; one daughter, Mrs. Amon Thurman, Southport, Maury County; and several grandchildren.
