He was born on August 28, 1918, in Doole, Texas. Siler had been a resident of Stiles since 1963. He owned St. Lawrence Trading Post for 8 years and owned Chaparral Quick Stop for a number of years. He was a farmer and rancher.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Sara Williams of Big Lake and Duke and Anna Goodwin of St. Lawrence; two daughters and sons-in-law, Delores and Wayne Smith of Burleson and Donna and Doug Grantham of Denton; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna; his wife, Ynell in 1997; one brother, Prentice Paul Williams; one sister, Margie Broseh and one grandson, Wesley Douglas Williams.
