Billy, age 77, died at Jane Phillips Medical Center Continous Care in Bartlesville. He was the son of Clarence and Nellie (Murphy) Mumma. He married Waunita Spangler on September 4, 1953, in Independence. Survivors include his wife, his children, Linda Richard and Steve Mumma, his siblings, Clarence Mumma and Shirley Merritt, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Potts-Chapel of Independence. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
