Elizabeth Whitman (1826-1904) was born to Edward Whitman (1792-1862) and Almira Olmstead Whitman (1793-1868). She was one of the first three of five children, the first three being triplets. Frederick Whitman (1827-1828, FAG Memorial# 77295090) lived less than a year and a half. Francis Whitman (1827-1847, FAG Memorial# 25981360) lived over 20 years and died in Needham, Massachusetts but was buried at Riverside Cemetery in Farmington with most of the rest of the Whitman family. Two other children were born after the triplets, Margaret Whitman McCorkle (1829-1881, FAG Memorial# 25981349) and Ellen Mary Whitman (1832-untraced).
