GEORGETOWN - Von Milligan , 90, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

He was born Feb. 28, 1908, in Conway, a son of the late Jack Milligan and Callie Lewis Milligan .

He grew up in Horry County and lived in Georgetown County for many years. He was a former employee of International Paper Co. and had been a farmer.

Mr. Milligan was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church.

He was first married to the late Georgie Shannon Milligan .

Survivors include his wife, Beulah Lucas Milligan of Georgetown; two sons, Robert E. Milligan of Jacksonville, N.C., and George Allen Milligan of Surfside Beach; seven daughters, Vivian M. McRoy of Dallas, Betty M. Kaminski of Rahway, N.J., Lavon M. Fenters of Garden City Beach, Juanita M. Moore of Bunnell, Fla., Peggy M. Carlson of Little River, Patsy M. Dickinson of Georgetown and Barbara M. Elliott of Lexington, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Inez Chandler and Joanne Mahaffey, both of Greenville; two brothers, Frank Milligan and Vasser Milligan , both of Conway; a sister, Lottie M. Cribb of Georgetown; 40 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-9 tonight at Ringel Heights Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. The Rev. D. Mark Nelson and the Rev. Themos Cribb will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery Annex.

Georgetown chapel of Mayer Funeral Home is in charge.
