Christy Jo Braden, 36, of Maroa passed away at 4: 35 a.m. Thursday October 26, 2006 in her residence.
Christy was born June 2, 1970 in Decatur, the daughter of Steve and Maria (Tooley)Braden. She was a 1992 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School. She had formerly resided for over fifteen years at the Hickory Point Terrace Group Home in Forsyth. She had worked for Macon Resources and for Baby Talk. She was a member of the New Day Community Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Maroa.
Surviving are her parents; sisters, Carrie (Shawn) Robb and Jolyn (Chad) Riley; brother, Jim (Maria) Braden; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Braden; maternal grandmother, Mary Tooley; one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandfathers.
