Born in 1895, Helen was the daughter of Newton Franklin "Frank" Kreamer and his wife, Jennie Breon. Helen had three sisters: Olive M, Nora Frances and Marian V Kreamer. She also had two brothers, Alfred John and Charles Franklin.

In about 1910, Helen married David DeWitt Weiser. They had ten children: three sons and seven daughters. Their daughters were Evelyn E., Frances J., Charlotte M., Helen F., Dorothy J., and Katharine L and Ruth Ann. Their sons were Kurtz H., B. Franklin and Donald D.

In the 1920 Census, the family was living in Logan Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Helen's husband was working as a "commercial trader in meats." By 1930, they lived in Altoona, also in Blair County. David was not working as a securities salesman.

Helen passed away on May 26, 1990 in Millheim, Pennsylvania.
