This child is buried under a stone placed by George F. Ramsey in memory of his father, William H. Ramsey. The stone was erected for people who couldn't afford a burial or who had no family. There are spaces for 30 graves and each burial is marked by a plate with their corresponding number.

What a beautiful, generous and thoughtful tribute for George to give his father and to those who are fortunate enough to benefit from that generosity.

For the burial of unfortunates
Erected by George F. Ramsey
In memory of his father, William H. Ramsey
First President of Greenwood Cemetery Association
And caretaker from it's organization 1888

Their seeds of life lie buried here
No soul be barred by sex or creed
As but one God shall reap their seed.
