PAUL TOTTEN, 69 - Obituary

. Paul L. (Pork) Totten, 69, 1014 W. Main, Olney, died at 3:55 p.m. Saturday May 10, 1981 in Richland Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Vernon Gibb presiding. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Olney Veterans Organizations.
. Mr. Totten was born in Richland County, the son of Charles A. and Fannie (Stivers) Totten. He married Juanita Miller June 26, 1929 and she survives.
. He was an oil field worker for Union Oil Co. for 35 years. He was a member of West Main Congregational Christian Church and served as a trustee and active participant in the Willing Workers Class of the church. He was also a member of VFW Post 4226, and for many years erected veterans stones for deceased veterans.
. Other survivors include, two sons, Denny and Dick, both of Clay City; a daughter, Pat Utz, Olney; a brother, Charles A., Columbus, Ind.; three sisters, Mildred Navolt, Olney, JoAnn Kobernus, Virginia, Ill., Charlene Graper, Haubstadt, Ind.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, a brother, LaVern; and a sister, Captolia Jennings.
