Norman John Anderson

OGDEN – Norman John Anderson, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, October, 10, 1997, at his home.
He was born July 3, 1910 in Ogden, Utah, a son of John Alexander and Ethel M Bingham Anderson.
He married Syrina Fawn Peterson on February 7, 1935 in Coalville, Utah Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple She has cared for him at home for the last several years.
He attended Ogden City Schools and retired from the railroad. He was a hard worker, working two jobs most of his life. He loved to fish and hunt with his family in his earlier years. His greatest joy in his life was his family, and they loved him very much.
He was a High Priest in the Ogden 3rd LDS Ward.
He is survived by his loving wife, three sons, and three daughters. Norman Keith (Jeannie) Anderson, Ogden, John Blaine (Gerene) Anderson, Bellvue Wash., Eileen (Gordon) Madsen, North Ogden, Julie (J C ) Heywood, Pittstown, New Jersey; Ralph (Juliann) Anderson, Pleasant View; Carol (Steve) Liptrot, Ogden, 30 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Gladys Romer, Ogden, and Mildred (Chet) Bruce, South Ogden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 14th, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden with Bishop Ronald Thompson officiating. Friends and family may call at the mortuary on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
