Allen Edwin Davis, 39, of Whitehouse crossing, East Peoria, died at 9:50 A.M. today at Proctor hospital following an illness of three years. He had lived all his life in this community.
Mr. Davis was born in East Peoria Nov. 11, 1905, the son of Jasper E. & Hattie Davis. He held membership in the Free Methodist church here.
Surviving are his widow: one daughter, Barbara Davis; three sons, Richard, James, & John Davis, all of the home address; seven brothers, Howard Davis, Macomb; Ray Davis, East Peoria; Clyde & Eugene Davis, in the Army; George & Roy Davis in the Navy, & Lester Davis with the Merchant Marine, & two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Selberg, California, & June Davis, East Peoria.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Schmidt funeral parlors.
