WADLEY, AL -- Mary Ann Coger Hodnett, 75, of Route 2, Wadley, died Sunday, January 7
, 1996, at Randolph County Hospital, Roanoke.
Funeral services were 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 9
, 1996 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church with Revs Larry Cosper and Maynard Mooney officiating. Burial was in Darian Cemetery.
Mrs. Hodnett is survived by her husband, William Carroll Hodnett of Wadley; three daughters, Betty Gay of Wadley, Louise Graham of Greensboro, NC and Debra Riley of Valley; three sons, Edwin Hodnett of Roanoke and Anthony Hodnett and Roger Hodnett of Wadley; 18 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Johnnie Gail Jones of Daviston and Bert Evans of Alex City.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Mrs. Hodnett was born in Tallapoosa County, the daughter of John Coger and Mattie Bishop Coger, on December 23
, 1920. She was a homemaker and a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church.
Quattlebaum Funeral Home of Roanoke was in charge of arrangements.
