CHARLES H. BENEDUM, 62, Tuscarawas county road supervisor, died at 8 a.m. at his home in Midvale following an illness of 12 weeks duration. He was born in Sherrodsville on November 12th 1878, the son of Frank and Mary Benedum and had resided in Midvale for 45 years. Mr. Benedum was a member of the Midvale Methodist church.

Surviving are his wife Eva Herron Benedum; one son William, at home; three grandchildren; a step-daughter, Mrs. Fred Peacock, this city; a half brother, Burtise Benedum, Pasadena, Calif. five half-sisters, Mrs. Fred Andregg, Pasadena, Calif. a former resident of this city; Mrs. Oscar Sandle, Detroit, Mich. Mrs. A. E. Chandler, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Harry Walker, Roxford, and Mrs. O. T. Hastings, Uhrichsville. One son, three brothers, and one sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. F. W. Hass officiating. Burial in the Leesville cemetery will be in charge of the Lewis Funeral Home, Dover
