Esther Bigelow, seventh child and third daughter of Eleazer and Mary Fiske Bigelow, was born March 22, 1744 at Westminster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, just after the family moved there from Watertown. She was married at Westminster April 21, 1768 to Moses Thurston, son of Moses and Hannah Sewell Thurston of Newbury, Massachusetts. They moved to Jeffersonville, Lamoille County, Vermont. Esther died there on October 24, 1831 and is buried in the Jeffersonville Cemetery.
