Mrs. Stanton, 68, Dies; Rites Set
Mrs. Amy Rose Stanton, 68, wife of Howard Stanton of Warren Route 2, Jackson Twp., died at 5:10 a.m. Sunday at Huntington Hospital following a 10-year illness. She had been seriously ill the past three weeks.
Born in Adams County, Jan. 12, 1902, she was a daughter of Ben B. and Dorcas Twigg Moyer. Her marriage to Mr. Stanton took place Nov. 19, 1924 at Decatur.
A member of the Domestic Church, she had been a resident of Wells County for five years, moving here from Detroit, Mich.
Surviving, in addition to the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Anderson of Detroit, and two brothers, Otis Moyer of Fort Wayne and Hugh Moyer of Decatur.
Friends may call at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home in Warren, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Archie S. Kent will officiate and burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
