She was the daughter of Joseph and Martha Lula Morrison Cathey. Left to cherish her in memory were her husband, Alvie; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Wanda Yates and Jim Yates, all of Indianola; three daughters, Wanda Buse of Wilburton; Joan Harper of Indianola; and Janet Cox of Madill; four sisters, Frankie Muncy, Alma Harmon and Josie Davis, all of McAlester; and True Johnston of Hayward, Calif. Also a brother, Dillard Cathey of Lawton; and a son-in-law, Ted Cox of Madill.
