Mrs. Earl (Lenore) Erie, 67, of 820 SW Eighth Ave., Faribault, died suddenly Tuesday, Aug. 10, in Rice County District One Hospital. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Faribault, with the Rev. Daniel Schnabel, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at Parker-Kohl Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the church for one hour before the service. Lenore A. Witzke, daughter of H. B. Witzke and Anna Klopsteg, was born in Culbertson, Mont. She married Earl Erie Jan. 4, 1936. Mr. Erie preceded her in death in 1977. Mrs. Erie for many years was proprietor of the Rice County Credit Bureau in Faribault. She is survived by a son, Larry of Alaska; two sisters, Mrs. Dwight (Ruth) Lockerby of Faribault and Mrs. Marvin (Elfrieda) Perron of Minneapolis; a brother, Gilbert Witzke of St. Paul; and other relatives.
