UNION INDIANA VOLUNTEERS149th Regiment, Indiana Infantry Organized at Indianapolis, IN and mustered in March 1, 1865. Left State for Nashville, TN, March 3; thence moved to Decatur, AL, and garrison and guard duty there till September. Regiment received the surrender of Generals Roddy and Warren. Mustered out September 27, 1865.
