Edward C., Jr. Colonel USAF (Ret.) on May 13, 2009, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 79. Beloved husband of Mary C. Schneider. Loving father of Mark A. Schneider and wife Denise of Forked River; Maryellen Fullam and husband Frank of Haddon Heights; Judith Eigenbrood and husband John of Mt. Laurel; and the late Gary F. Schneider (1972). Devoted grandfather of Jacqueline Verwey and husband Michael; Matthew Schneider; Michael and Scott Fullam; Jeffrey, John, Jason and James Eigenbrood and great granddaughter Amber Rose Verwey.

Ed was a graduate of the Univ. of Missouri, Columbia-BSME, Univ. of Pennsylvania-MBA (Wharton), United States Air Force Command and Staff College, Air War College and USAF Pilot Training and qualified as a Commercial Airline Pilot. He became a pilot in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict followed by a 28 year career in the Air Force Reserves in which he flew the B-29, the KC-97 "Flying Gas Station", the C-119 "Flying Box Car" and the U-3, a single engine, low flying, one manned, "observation" aircraft at both McGuire Air Force Base and the Willow Grove Naval Air Station where he ultimately attained the rank of Colonel. Mr. Schneider's civilian service concentrated on the Navy working as a Design Engineer and V.P. of International Marketing for several companies that interfaced with Naval Defense programs of the United States and our Allies and Embassies throughout the world.
