Service for Cheryl Elaine Maupin, 43, was Wednesday at the Ione Congregational Church. Graveside service followed at the Riverside Cemetery in Ione.

A lifetime Ione resident, Mrs. Maupin died Saturday.

She graduated in 1974 from Selkirk High School near Metaline Falls, Wash.

Mrs. Maupin was a margin clerk in the sale of stocks and bonds. She also worked as a bartender for local taverns in Northern Pend Oreille County.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Steve; a son, Steven at home; a daughter, Shelly Martin of Oroville, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Carol Maupin and Cristy Haskins, both of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Cristy Blount of Spokane and Michele Lopes of Ione; two grandchildren and one stepgrandson.
