MARIAN HANSMANN

Mrs. Theodore Hansmann, 41, of Plymouth, former Manitowoc County resident, died Wednesday at the family home following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth. The Rev. H. W. Baxman will officiate. Burial will be in Kiel.

Nee Marian Heidemann, she was born Nov. 28, 1913, in Schleswig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Heidemann. She attended the Manitowoc County Teachers College and taught at the Spring Valley school in the Town of Meeme. On June 18, 1938, she was married to Theodore Hansmann at Louis Corners. They made their home in Plymouth. She was a member of the St. John congregation and the Valparaiso Guild of the church.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Timothy; her father, Otto Heidemann, town of Schleswig; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Maschmeier, Hartley, Iowa, Mrs. Carl Wernecke of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Roland Thomas of Cleveland, Wis.; and two brothers, William and the town of Schleswig, and the Rev. Frederick Heidemann of New London.
She was preceded in death by her mother who passed away in 1944.
