Dorothy Catherine Elizabeth Hildebrand, 83, died at the Salem Convalescent Center Thursday at 4:10 pm after a short illness.
She was born in Vandergrift, PA, daughter of Rubin Steven Hildebrand and Gertrude Wadding Hildebrand and had resided in this area most of her life.
Miss Hildebrand was a teacher in the Columbiana County, Newton Falls and Lisbon Schools, serving 45 years before retiring in 1969.
She is survived by a sister, Ruth (Sidney) DeRemer of Sugar Grove, PA, a brother, R. Paul Hildebrand of Fairhope, Alabama as well as 11 nieces and nephews.
Services are to be held Saturday at 2 pm at Eells Leggett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
