Mrs. Rowena Blanks Worth, aged 30, wife of Monroe W. Worth, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock after a short illness. She was a native of Douglas, Ga., and had resided in Norfolk for the past eight years. Surviving her, besides her husband, are three daughters, Kathleen P., Mary Frances, and Elizabeth Virginia Worth, all of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. T.K. Norris, of Jacksonville, Fla., and a brother, Robert E. Blanks, of Eddy Florida.
Funeral servies will be conducted in the funeral chapel of James V. Kerry, 1920 Colley avenue, Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with the Rev. Kenneth E. Burke, pastor of the Burrows Memorial Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
