Bradly Richard "Brad" Bowen, 35, died May 14, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Brad was a graduate of Apollo Beach High School and had been a resident of St. Augustine for 15 years, moving here from Apollo Beach, FL. He was an electrician and was employed by TAG Electric and Ferrell Electric of St. Augustine. Brad loved life and most enjoyed spending his free time at the beach surfing. He was personable, outgoing and charismatic and everyone he met remained a friend. He was loved and adored by his family. He is survived by his parents, Melanie and Danny Dean of Dade City, FL.; his adoptive father, Ken Bowen of Louisiana; his father, Ken Rae of Jacksonville, FL; and siblings Chris Bowen, Michael Bowen and Mathew Jones; maternal grandfather Curis L. Fewox; and his fiance' Linda Leonard of St. Augustine. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Eby officiating. In charge: St. Johns Family Funeral Home, St. Augustine.
